Our club serves as an excellent way to meet new, interesting
people and to stay in touch with the developments in Cambridge.
Our club also serves an important role for the College in its
commitment to interview every candidate. Area alumni perform these
interviews, and it is an excellent chance to provide information to
prospective students as well as a way to help the College.
Additionally, the Harvard Club of Austin features fun and
informative events. We try to appeal to a variety of interests
including some family-friendly activities. See the Information page
of this site for recent and upcoming events
The goals of the Harvard Club of Austin are:

To provide opportunities for service, educational and
social activities to graduates and current student of Harvard
University living in Central Texas
·
To encourage and recognize academic achievement among
Central Texas high school students
·
To help Harvard attract highly qualified applicants to
the College and Graduate Schools by increasing awareness of Harvard
in Central Texas and by assisting in the admissions process
We welcome and encourage all Harvard graduates
living in the Austin area and current students from the Austin area
to join our Club.
The Club has an active Schools and
Scholarship program and sponsors social events and service projects
throughout the year. Activities are supported by member dues and by
special contributions to the Scholarship Fund. We welcome your
involvement as a participant or as a member of the committees
responsible for the Club's programs.
We do not currently charge membership dues. We do have a scholarship
fund for small awards to undergraduates from the Austin area, and
tax-deductible donations are always welcome.
The Club also has a Scholarship fund. Contributions to the
Scholarship Fund are tax deductible. Contributions may be designated
to support the scholarship the Club awards annually to an incoming
freshman, or to endow Harvard book prizes awarded to students at
area high schools.
